# Street Child United

> Street Child United is a youth-led global movement that uses the power of sport — most notably the Street Child World Cup — to give street-connected young people a platform to demand their rights. Founded in 2010, registered UK charity number 1149465, headquartered in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Street Child United (SCU) brings together street-connected young people from around the world before major sporting events to challenge the stigma they face and protect their rights. The flagship initiative, the Street Child World Cup (SCWC), combines a football tournament, a global arts programme, and a youth-led Congress where young leaders draft and deliver a collective call-to-action.

The next Street Child World Cup takes place in Mexico City from May 5–15, 2026.
