SCU North America

With the FIFA World Cup, Street Child United brings the global mission to the Americas—amplifying the voices of street-connected children and mobilising support for their rights through sport, art, and advocacy.

From helping teams reach the Street Child World Cup to building local partnerships and campaigns, we focus on impact that resonates both regionally and globally. Our work empowers young people not only to be seen but to lead change in their communities and beyond.

Join us as we grow this movement across North America—uniting individuals, institutions, and communities who believe in dignity, justice, and opportunity for every child. Together, we’re not just changing lives; we’re changing the way the world sees street-connected youth.

Street Child World Cup 2026

The World Cup that Matters

The Street Child World Cup 2026 is coming to North America—uniting street-connected young people from around the world for an unforgettable tournament of football, art, and advocacy. Held ahead of the FIFA World Cup, this landmark event offers a global stage for children to represent their countries, share their stories, and demand the rights and recognition they deserve. It’s more than a game—it’s a movement for justice, dignity, and lasting change.

This will be the biggest Street Child World Cup yet, bringing together more teams, more voices, and more support than ever before. As North America prepares to host the world, we’re making sure that some of the world’s most marginalised children are not only included—but celebrated.

Ambassadors

“I know from personal experience just what power sport can have to inspire and change young people’s lives whatever their background or nationality. This is what the Street Child World Cup is all about and I give it my full support.
