A powerful week of connection, advocacy and global impact.
At the beginning of the month, Street Child United was proud to once again join Soccerex Miami. As the official charity partner, we were excited to bring our mission to one of the world’s leading football business events. As global leaders gathered to connect, share insights, and strengthen relationships, we took the opportunity to highlight the importance of ensuring that every child is seen, heard, and protected.
Bringing our mission to the global football network
From clubs and federations to innovators and industry decision-makers, Soccerex brings together one of the most influential communities in world football. It’s a place designed for connection, where professionals strengthen relationships, spark collaborations, and explore how the game can drive social change.
At Booth 501, our team welcomed visitors to discover how Street Child United uses the power of sport to change the way the world sees and treats street-connected young people. With 150 million children worldwide living or working on the streets, our message resonated strongly: identity, protection, and education are urgent issues, and football can be part of the solution.
Art, creativity and youth voices at the heart of our stand
Visitors to our booth were also greeted by vibrant artwork and banners created by former Street Child World Cup participants. These pieces, filled with colour, courage, and imagination, served as a reminder of the strength and creativity at the core of our global movement.
Art is a powerful part of our work, giving young people space to create, connect, and express themselves freely. Through painting, theatre, music and dance, they overcome language barriers, build friendships, and share their experiences.
Looking ahead: Mexico City 2026
As we prepare to host the 5th Street Child World Cup in Mexico City ahead of FIFA 2026, the connections built at Soccerex are more important than ever. We are actively seeking partners who want to stand with us, helping young people step onto a global stage to demand the rights and opportunities every child deserves.
Thank you, Soccerex
We are deeply grateful to Soccerex for their continued partnership and commitment to amplifying the voices of street-connected young people. Together, we are building a world where no child has to live on the streets.
