Young Leaders team up with Mobile School

September 9, 2020

As part of SCU’s Change10 Programme, our Young Leaders have enjoyed guest-sessions from speakers from a wide variety of backgrounds. In July, they met Mobile School, an NGO working around the world to deliver non-formal education to street-connected young people. As part of their session, they were tasked to design games to impact their communities.

Working in small groups, our Young Leaders designed a variety of activities. We are delighted that all six games have now been uploaded to StreetSmart Play and are available worldwide!

Jhoselyn: “The game is about boosting confidence. We all have fear to disappoint someone or difficulty expressing ourselves. I tell you to not have fear, to express yourself as you are and this way doors will open.”

Jessica & Drika: “We made a game to raise awareness about prejudice and how it gets in your way to achieve your dreams. The Objective is to show everyone that there will always be an impediment in achieving our dreams, but we are able to face difficulties, prejudices and win this daily battle, we must never give up on our dreams.”
